ok guys hopefully this can get answered is there anyone here or know of anyone that builds rc bodies none of the 1/8 vw bodies out there are what im looking for want one not so baja and more full fendered stock look going for a class 11 look with my new 4x4 short course truck

wheelbase is 330mm but as it looks i may have to end up with a long travel baja look

mitey long, stock bug body 241 mm,
early 90's blitzer beetle 267 mm.
even longest 1/10 chassis of HPI
using 292 mm.

dhk hunter bl 4x4 is what i just ordered 1/10 short course but short course is larger than normal 1/10 thats why im looking for 1/8 scale

& largest 1/10 is traxxass slash
or equivilent.....very long wheelbase
for 1/10....

not as perfectly scale looking as some other bodies, but it might be a good fit for you. I've ordered from that company before and had no problems.

I think I've got a couple other 1/8 Bug bodies in the garage. I'll have to check them out and try to remember where they came from. Laughing

ok, VWguru has this new to me
creation, a 92 TAMIYA stadium blitzer,
has very wide stance w/truck body
when new, still using mechanical
SC & being wide, added TRAXXAS
wheels/tyres of offset to inside.... Wink
(this was same chassis used year later
for beetle blitzer) but early generation of
this chassis , w/slightly diff. rear suspension
were > falcon, striker, sonic fighter, & bear
hawk......

my baby got a update....took off
plastic shocks (red) & added metal
KYOSHO platinum , & off w/ HPI
wh/tyres of 2.312 wide (tyre) TO
a HR( hot racing ) wheel & 2.625
wide > swamp dawg tyre........

tyre CLOSE TO HITTIN SHOCK..... Crying or Very sad , BUT does clear.....

You've got a Bush Devil chassis there. They were the only ones that came in blue.

Just finished up this road race style Jetta based on an RC10ds chassis. I don't have as many water cooled VW r/c's in my collection, so I was glad to finish this one up.

I made my own all black "Hot Trick" style chassis for it, and added a bunch of fluorescent yellow parts to match the body. Scratch built splitters and a rear diffuser for it too.

OK........new to me.......early 90's
TAMIYA vintage 4wd > twin motors
& > has no solid axles... independent.!
had a FORD TRUCK body...had to go.......
so this desirable of blackfoot era ,
as last made....
1st > reg 1986
2nd > super 1988
3rd > king >1989
(all those 2wd & 1 motor)
4th > extreme > 1990-91
4wd & dual motors..................!
