Got my first fastback in '08 when i was just 12 years old. Now I am 15 and started this resto last summer in hopes of driving it when i get my license. I have hundreds of more photos but I just wanted to post a couple to see what you guys think of my progress.
I have been on this forum for quite a while as some may know from my multiple posts and questions on my daily issues of my type 3 Razz

Note: I am not a fan of going completely stock...so there will be some mods in this resto.

didn't think you could install halos on a type 3... looks very distinct from any other type 3 right now. Keep up the work.

I have installed all of the windows since these photos and am still awaiting tint, radar wheels, and to lower it. So far progress on this car is going smoothly.

I'd like to see that rolling on all black rims (without hub caps) with a chrome knock-off centre and maybe some fat rubber with white lettering like a Firestone or Hoosier.

So I sort of lowered my fastback ( '68 ) not too much but enough for it to be noticably different from stock. I was looking at 165-60-15 and runnign 165-80-15 in the back, all stock wheels (different from photo). Do you think these tires woudl be good on the fastback?

That is my stance with some 8 spokes.

Not a good photo, but here is a picture of it with stock tires.

I have done much since these photos, such as organized wiring, added a radio and speakers, and various small things for the car.

Awesome work! How did you go about fitting the halos/angel eyes? Where did you source parts, etc? I want to put those on my FB in the worst way.

fitting halos were pretty easy, I just cut some of the headlight bucket and add some rubber roofing material so it screwed in there and was sealed tight. i got them for $30 off ebay, work great! Just a little trial and error fabbing and it will come out good.

heres an update on the '68 Fastback so far. I have lately been distracted by a new manx in the garage. Some new things added is the roof rack, 12" 1600w subwoofer in the trunk, and various small things. Im planning on coloring in the tire lettering white to for its' stance to pop out a bit.

Any reccomendations or input on what else I should do next to it would be great.
