Here are some pictures of our Bus Depot Add-A-Room tent we got last summer. We love it! Can't wait to start using it this season!
I'm not sure they sell them anymore. I went to their site to send a link to my buddy but I couldn't find them anymore. _________________ 1973 Campmobile rustoration in progress..

Well Ive done it again. I ended up buying this newest tent. It sat in the classifieds for a couple of weeks at a stupid low - cant pass this up price. No one jumped on it so I did.
Its a great tent and very well built, put together. Its by far the thickest canvas of all the tents I have. It is the biggest for sure. And I bet this sucker weighs a ton if it gets wet!
This tents only flaw is the net at the front door. Everything else is in excellent shape.
This appears to be the type advertised by VW for the 74 P27. There is another similar design, but a tad smaller hat loos to be a different variation and or model?

Here's a tent my nephew got with his bus.
The name on it is Isabella, they appear to be still around. _________________ Dirk

Ok here are the pics of what lion has for a tent and a bus. Looks to be a straight forward Westfalia tent. Im not sure when they did the big flap lie that in the back to get into the bus - early I believe?

aircooledguy is his quest to find a right hand drive tent has done it. Looks as though Westfalia made a right hand drive (RHD) version of their tent. For a left side slider bus the pocket needs to be reversed to tuck behind it, thus making it side specific.
RHD - Right Hand Drive Tent - hooks to a left side slider.
LHD - Left Hand Drive Tent - hooks to the right side slider.

When did the Westfalia Tent get the half round windows that zipper close instead of using hooks?

Vanagon Westfalia side tent I found and purchased today, from CL. Sent a deposit and we are meeting up next week Friday for final payment and so I can pick it up.
Ironically, I attempted to buy this same tent 2 years ago, but this couple beat me to the punch. They only set it up twice, once in this photo and one time camping. They found it was too much for the type of camping they do.
Lucky me.

I got a call today from my buddy who tells me he picked up a tent but really doesn't want it. Yes, I'll take it was my answer. He says it's a Space Maker. Anyone ever heard of it? Bad pic, I will post a better pic when I get it.

Today I got a call from Mtnbus. He was gonna be going past my house and was gonna drop off my new Spacemaker tent. I rushed home after work and set it up. It's really nice, looks brand new. It came with the condensation sheet and the inside tent. It didn't come with the floor and the awning poles. Oh well, I'm sure I can buy some poles.
All in all I'm stoked on it. It went together easily except for the inside tent. I see how it should look but I couldn't figure out how it went in the short amount of time I had to build it. Could use some help with that.
Going to 2, 3 day festivals next month and will be camping with the bus. I'm sure the tent will be nice.
Still has the tag on it .
Also came with this 2 square pieces. No clue where they go, who knows?

Today I used my tent for the first time. It was awesome!!!!!! I showed the bus at a car show at the Wines of the San Juan's vineyard in Blanco, NM. It was the frist show there and 27 cars showed up. All the people were great and loved the bus. Can't wait to use the tent again!
