Jody, you owe me in that bodywork. I LET Joe practice on mine before he tackled yours.

You are welcome.

It is awesome, and I may be impartial to Agave, since my 56 is that color.

What did the paint and body work cost? Just wondering since mine may need it soon.

Glad you said you weren't Hating on the car there Templeofspeed or I'd swear you were picking on it......(j/k) The "Extra" holes are for the Security "Lazer's" and I've got a Real Purdy new roll of Duct Tape for all the errant wire's hanging around...... Shocked

I've had to stay close to my body guy on just these kinds of details for customer restorations... and just have had an inner tire well done on an Agave '57, but knew to have him replicate the wiring hold down tabs as they were on the rotten part they replaced. I did have to tell him though, he wouldn't have taken the initiative himself. But in his defense he does all makes, so it's on me to specify the details. I say, he does, as I need.

Curious about the lazer stuff... Shocked

I do wish your restoration the best, and know the ins and outs of the process.

Very Happy

We are looking to remedy that situation now. Hopefully it will be an easy fix.

The Lazor's have a magnetic switch and if an intruder tries to steal it...BZZZZIT..cut off at the knees..!!!!My car's STAY MINE unless I sell or give them away....!!!!

I would paint some tabs and epoxy them in place. they shouldn't move, there is no pressure there pulling on them. they make some real good adhesives now that hold really well
