Since getting a Vanagon camper I've started seeing a lot more campers and meeting more people. I was curious to see how many other Vanagoneers were around the Puget Sound area.

I'm near the Northgate area of Seattle.

I'd guess that one in six of the regulars here are located somewhere around the Sound.

Possibly earier to ask 'who isn't?'.

Must be a hoot and a lot more fun to live somehwere with so many who share this madness.

We need another one of those! Especially with this awesome weather we have been having.

What was the count there - Like 50+ vanagons at Marymore Park that day?

I would think between Portland and Seattle, we are probably the largest concentrate of Vanagon's in the nation.

Cascadia is Vanagon country. We seem to have major clusters in Vancouver/Bellingham, Pugetopolis, Willamette valley and the Bay Area

A syncro camper is the perfect vehicle for the PNW outdoor adventurer.

Vancouver Island in BC has the highest VTP (Vanagon to population) ratio on the planet.

I just wanted to see who we active, not get a spam list going lol.

Seems like with 1700 people at least two of them have met before for coffee.

I did see a lot of vw action when I wnt to Nanoose Bay.

Seems like a bad time to be meeting in Leavenworth. A little smokey out there these days.

I think vanagons are giving Subaru Foresters a run for their money in Seattle. They are everywhere.

Don't count out Olympia.

There are a few nice vans down here too. Occassionally, I'll venture up into "Mordor" (Seattle) too! Smile

When's the next Seattle meetup?
