|
|
My buses long interior panel was all torn up at the bottom when I got it. I finally cut a new panel and will be using the OG vinyl.
So this is probably a pretty stupid question but I just want to make sure. There are tabs at the bottom welded to the floor. Does the panel mount between the tab and the wall? _________________ Jerry

No, it screws into the tab. The tab is not visible from the outside. |

Again Everett, thank you so much! I need to get my glasses prescription up dated. I just didn't look at the tabs that closely. _________________ Jerry

Bringing up an old thread, my bus doesn't have any tabs and I want to add some. Does anyone have pics and measurements of their locations? Any help would be much appreciated. |

Thanks Clara, thats more info than I already had. If anyone has more pics or measurements, especially at the rear end near the wheel arches that would be great. Thanks |

Thanks Baz, that helps a lot. I thought there should only be two on the long side. Thanks again. |

Here are a few more pictures and measurements from a friend here in Australia, combined with the images from Baz these should allow for accurate installation of the tabs in a bus with them all removed.
Interestingly it would appear there was a change somewhere between 58/60 on Aussie busses, I have pics of the rear wheel tub tabs on 2 <58 busses and pics of 60< busses with no wheel tub tabs, does anyone have more info on when this changed? |

Maybe they are Kombis and they don't have them? I don't know. |

They were microbusses. From what we have seen so far it appears the change may have happened at the same time as the semaphore > turn signal change on Aussie busses. |
