Done all that myself and it still does it once in a while (not today yet), the page is alive like it's loaded yet it's completely blank aside from the header, and clicking on any of the header buttons gets another version of the same thing. Not like when it's about to pull one of those cloudflare errors where the whole page is there and the buttons and links all change color when you mouse over them yet no results when you click (just the little Samba logo in the tab continues spinning endlessly), this is a partially loaded page that seems to be finished and that's all you are going to get and the logo in the tab isn't spinning.
On a possibly unrelated note I've noticed my home and end buttons have no effect anymore, page up and down still move it partially but I can't jump to the top or bottom anymore.
But search is back up!, YAY!!!

I noticed today when I was posting a reply to a topic, the YouTube button did not do what it normally does. It should show the opening screen of the video when the YouTube URL is surrounded by [youtube][/youtube]
What was returned in both the Preview and Submit modes was the code only. So I removed [youtube][/youtube] thus giving me a clickable link.
I even copied the video URL of the most recent video posted on Nov. 11 at the General/Chat sticky topic: "Video clips - Please post all general VW video clips here" and this is what it returned:
[youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=LheK9WHQf8k[/youtube]

youtube uses special uri from where you copy the embeded link. It's weird, but they have their system.

The embedded link appears to only be if you are copying it from some other source like Facebook, where videos are displayed inline using some trickiness.
When I google'd this I see a ton of other Forum people complaining about the same issue and basically saying don't use those links when possible.
I will say the same... for now.

My bad.  I copied the URL by doing a right-click on the video screen and clicking on "Copy video URL". That is what returned feature=player_detailpage& in the middle of the URL. Like John said, when the URL is copied from the browser address window it works fine with [youtube][/youtube]. |

The google site search works better if you exclude words you don't want it to search.
Google Search Tips

It's been a couple weeks since there's been a full on issue, a few times where it loads slow but no cloudflare errors at all.

Oh my,,,,I spoke too soon it seems.
Some of those slow loads (where I open a new tab while waiting and go somewhere else and that site responds normally) turned into this today, once at 12:19 PST and once again just a minute ago.
