Had a great time down there and it was great to meet so many people. Was very impressed with the size of the show and it was well worth the trip. Got a friend that was down for a last minute road trip and we hit the road about 8:00 Saturday night, and find a non-sold out hotel room and got settled in at about 5:00AM for nearly 3 hours of sleep and a shower.

Seeing so many great buses, it was sort of a bummer that I wasn't able to be there be in mine, but the good thing was that I found plenty of goods from the vendors and folks selling stuff from their buses that I came home with a full car load, and make it back at about 11 last night.

Whew just about a thousand miles in just over 24 hours with a great VW show in the middle. Busy weekend, but glad we made it down and can't wait for November.

Used to be a lot more going on for the Bugjam turned No Dough. Its a shame because there used to be so much more going on for the weekend. Did the weather slow things down or is it just a change? I did appriciate that I could just cruise over (couple blocks from the house) to the city center for a VW fix and it didnt cost me a dime.

Are you talking about this past weekend?
There were like 4 get togethers on Saturday alone from 8am to late at nite.

There was stuff from Friday afternoon till Sunday afternoon nonstop. You couldn't have fit anything else in to do.

I've been going to shows on and off for 20 years or so and The carabus to Saint Augustine along A1A was literally one of the coolest things VW related that I've ever done. I had goose bumps watching the sun rise over the ocean rolling 20+ buses deep. Thank you for an amazing experience.

Did anyone pull over to make a quick video?
That would have been cool.

We did the "loop" and it dumps you into A1A too.
Very scenic drive, almost always covered by trees.

This weekend tops many others with "stuff to do".
Next year we just should put it all on ONE flyer.

I heard that. The SBR1 had a few issues that will be addressed for future events.

Youre welcome Wink Thanks to all who participated.

I was floored when I pulled up at Bel Air plaza Saturday am to see 20 Buses ready for the cruise. I thought for sure there was NO WAYwe were going to keep it together but we pretty much did all the way until the last red light. It was great.

While we're on the topic of the Cruise on saturday, I need any and all pictures that any of the participants got along the way.

you can email them to me direct at [email protected]

Thanks in advance

The Bulli Brigade crew had a great time during the No Dough Weekend! We were proud to be invited to host the inaugurall Bulli Brigade Spring Meet as a small part of a big weekend.

We wanted to thank Bill, Bubba and their crew for putting on a very laid back, stress free weekend. These guys are cool as cucumbers and very chill to work with. We were also proud of the Baywindow guys for starting their rally this year. We feel this will continue to grow as Bulli Brigade has over the last 20 years. It was clear to us the organizers put it together for all the right reasons.

And in Bulli Brigade tradition we carabused to Outback for Supper! (heared we missed a good turnout at Guiseppis Pizza) note: there is a Baywindow in the pic ; )

Plans are in motion for the Bulli Brigade Spring Meet II for April 5th 2014. Drive it, drag it or tow your split! We want to see it on the field!
