I went through a lot of the stuff I have last night. Its amazing the amount of crap an average ACVW obsessee can collect over the years.

Weather forecast sounds like minimal impact. What is a winter swap meet without a little winter weather anyway? Warm coffee will be provided.

I'm looking for a good fiberglass baja hood and or baja parts.

Just did the basement scour and came up with 4 crates of stuff. All small parts, some NOS dealer parts in boxes. A bunch of horns, horn button parts, a huge box of that "I'm not really sure what this is?" hardware, some mirrors, NOS brake rebuild kits, emblems, decklid lights, etc.

Nothing is of huge value to me either, so hopefully someone can use this stuff, I'm not looking for big bucks on anything. Mostly 50s 60s Beetle stuff, but I did see "211" on some of the old dealer parts....

See you tomorrow, looks like the weather is going to be a non-issue.....

Turns out I just couldn't do it, thanks to a family obligation that started a lot earlier in the day than I had expected.

I really admire Stan for originating and setting up such a great get-together, including going out of his way to clear out his shop for the festivities.

I hope the folks who were able to attend all had a good time. Wish I had been able to go!

I think the swap meet was a success. I estimate there were 25-30 people who came through browsing, buying, and some forced to take home free parts Cool. It was great to see everyone who made it. We'll do it again, hopefully soon, possibly in March. I've still got plenty of stuff to get rid of and we had room for more indoor swappers.

Our two indoor vendors, with room for more. This was during a quick break in the swapping action.

Next time around we'll try to have a little more lead time before the event.

Thanks for hosting that Stan, was a good take. I sold enough stuff to make it worthwhile and it is always good seeing VW people, old and new..

I had a great time. It was a little chilly but it was good to meet with some good vw folks in the cold weather

It was pretty snowy on the way home!

I was looking at the calendar and Sun. March 10, 2013 might work for the next swap meet. Weather-dependent, of course.

Stan, thanks for hosting this at your shop. We had a good time at the swap even though we could only stay for a short time. March sounds great for the next one.
