Well i have just spent sunday afternoon reading all 15 pages on newbeetle.org im blown away by what you have done! One thing that is bugging me. When you had your engine bay parts carbon dipped i think you should get the panel done where the bonnet lock is as it looks out of place. Other than that i salute you! Very Happy

Thanks! It looked like too much work to disassemble and I wanted to keep some contrast. I use the car daily and the parts take up to two weeks so I can't take anything that would secure the hood.
I was thinking about doing the area around the windshield wipers that has all the vents on it but not sure if that would be too much or not.
