Good spotting.... Looks like it is missing the "double hole" for the rear side moulding as well.....so that means holes are hand drilled and that the car originally had no trim. |

But Zwitter dash |
Every one of us down in this Texas area knows about these cars....this place is literally like 10 minutes from my house and Ive seen the cars from the road. Apparently from what ive been told the split had the whole front clip replaced at some point in its life, possibly due to an accident so its not all correct. ....but from what ive heard it is an early split. _________________ 1957 Lowlight

yeah, I had noticed the chrome ring on the ashtray too, so it should be an oval dash in there. So probably the front section is from an oval. _________________ drive it like you just robbed the bank

These are my long time friends cars...I have bought a few VWs from him over the years. He used to have a lot more cars, but the flood in 1994 really took a toll. (I'm talking about ALOT of cars, I bet over a hundred)
Great guy, just tired of people bugging him to sell

Shit like this is stupid. Getting tired of people bugging him? then sell the shit, its OBVIOUSLY...NEVER going to get finished. Its just being ruined by the weather and one assholes lack of motivation or funds. I cant stand people like this.
These people die and then scrappers get the cars. It happens in under a week and the community is in tears every time. _________________ Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude.

Seems like this thread has been highjacked. The cars in this thread are from Alabama not Texas. _________________ 55 DD panel PBR

As far as the sedan goes, all the metal is finished and it is getting painted. _________________ 55 DD panel PBR
