I wouldn't worry about that. Today is suppose to be the end of the world anyway, right? _________________ '89 Westy Syncro w/ '09 Subaru 2.5 |

Ha, yeah for sure. I'm about to order a new PS pump and rack and other assorted bits. This thread has sparked my imagination. _________________ '91 Westfalia GL Automatic

Probably because the person who puts the cookies in the box, was too busy drawing unicorns, frogs and lama's to satisfy people's quirky requests after this thread. _________________ John

http://www.mackenzieschocolates.com/ is just a few blocks from VC.
http://www.donnellychocolates.com/ is all the way on the other side of town(10 minute drive) if chocoholics want some nice treats after visiting the friendly staff at Van Cafe. _________________ SyncroFest Schadenfreude!

Bah! i just ordered some LED lighting and rear side marker lenses and forgot to add my rediculous request in the comment section!
i agree with what everyone is saying, spent a grip there when i first started the pimpage of the syncro...his comment to me while i was standing at the counter saying "and i'll take this, and that, and that, and...oh! that too" (5 Rhein wheels w/BFG TA KOs, big brake kit, german spare tire carrier, axle seals and light switches...etc)
"you just made my month!"
and seven years later, i'm still loving the VC additions to my van!
Van-Cafe rocks! |

Been to their shop en route to home. Nice folks. Peter took the time to talk springs, tires, and politics with us for most of an hour.
I order stuff from VC and it's at the house via USPS in a week. Sadly, I cannot say that of any other supplier we've dealt with.
If you're in Santa Cruz, stop by "Falafel of Santa Cruz" - brilliant food reasonably priced. http://www.falafelofsantacruz.com/. _________________ Dark Alley Dan

I like Van Cafe because their South African drum order arrived in Santa Cruz on Saturday, they shipped mine out on Monday and they'll be in Blaine on Wednesday. That's really quick for a heavy box.
They charged me the old price, too, which I didn't ask for! _________________ '84 Vanagon GL 1.9 WBX
