Oh I love GW.. dont get me wrong... Its just that their shipping times are ALWAYS delayed.
This isnt the first order in the past 6 weeks or so that has taken a week to ship. I've had a few.
I understand theyre a small shop filling orders so I dont mind... Im so used to my orders being shipped out same day when ordering photography equipment and other goodies. My extent of VW orders have only been with GW to date. Hence why i was used to long ship times.
This same day shipping on my VC order was a welcomed surprise! _________________ Abel Longoria

I find it interesting that GW takes so long to send things out...I don't have any issue with it, I just don't get it. They have like 30 people working there per their picture.
Can't wait to have money to buy something!

Dr Midnite cookies are good but, I kill for Almond Joes! If only Peter and the gang could ship a cookie under a scoop of Marianne's Ice Cream, I would have no reason to trek over the hill. Well maybe to see what's in the slightly used parts pile! One of my favorite parts vendors! |

Ordered the full front brake kit from Van Cafe early this week for my wife's "Bluestar" (she's been using the Doka all week leaving me to thumb it home); so needless to say I am EAGER to get to her brakes this weekend so I can have my truck back. I specifically ordered from VC, knowing that another unnamed competitor would take weeks to fulfill...ahem.
So feeling nervous about whether I will have my parts or not I called VC this morning, oops, the order had fell through the cracks, they admitted their oversight and will be sending it out today as priority mail with no additional charge to me.
This is exactly why my first choice for ordering parts on line is always Van Café! _________________ ~Bryan

Damn, I didn't know about the drawings. I just placed my first ever order last night. It shipped this morning. I'll have to ask about a drawing on my next order. |

I love it when a vendor will actively search for a cheaper option to send your parts across the country AND automatically send a credit memo the day it ships.
Thank you!

Yeah, once I was ordering something light, but pricy, and the shipping seemed unfair on the web, so I call to order and before I can comment on shipping, they say "we can send that in a flat rate for (approx) $5.00!"
We are lucky that we have (several) awesome vendors! _________________ John - 86 Wolfsburg Westfalia "Weekender"

They did that to the order I mentioned just above. I only saw the credit so I called to ask if the order might have something backordered. Nope, just cheaper shipping. Great place, business practices, and cookies. I was so impressed that I sent them a larger order two days ago. This time I asked for artwork though. |
