Why was the original tail light wiring cut when the rear fenders were removed? _________________ Jack Staggs

I was to lazy to remove the snowflakes when I was removing the rear fenders so I just cut the wire. I dont even mess with old wiring when restoring. New wire harnesses are cheap enough to make the headache of messing with old crappy rigged wiring not worth the trouble. _________________ Ethan Dunlap

Hey Phil, Ive been watching your build thread on the 55. I cant wait to see you bring that one to its former glory. I like to use the Wiring Works harness every one I have installed has been easy. You can get them at most dealers or do a google search. I always shop around for the best price when I am ready to buy. There is sometimes a 20-50 dollar difference depending on who you buy it through. _________________ Ethan Dunlap

Its been a real busy season at work, but we got a little work done this weekend.
before
after
decided to use a donor door. the original was oil canned pretty badly. took everything I could down to bare metal with a DA, but I am having the jambs media blasted this week.
Also got the hood ready for epoxy. more to come _________________ Ethan Dunlap

Well now that the raffle car is done back to working on my own today. We got a lot done today. Jason worked on my hood and Jeremy and I shaved all the tack strip on the inside I plan on running a standard headliner so a lot had to be shaved. I also shaved the seal c channel on the front hood. Jeremy got my hood in primer as well.

Although it might not seem like much, progress was moved forward today. I am sorting through a lot of the little things to get to my goals of My Perfect Car  Headliner trim clip areas are now almost all deleted and smoothed out. Jason and Jeremy put some finishing touches on the top of my hood, and Jason even smoothed underneath it for me  Tito, Ray Ray and I just sanded and sanded and sanded and sanded and sanded........
