My 40hp is now up and running with the Judson on it and am real happy with the result.
One thing I noticed today is that when it is revved up to full throttle it spits oil out of the breather pipe ( next to the oil filler ).
Is this normal for an engine spinning at high speed, or is something not right?
Whats a good way to block this up, or is this the wrong thing to do?

Steve

I know this is an old post but I'm having the same issue with a 36hp + judson - is a non stock oil breather + catch needed?? Or is something not right with my set up? It doesn't happen when I'm just putting around town but get on the freeway and there's oil that gets splashed out of there and then goes everywhere.

I installed one of these gizmos:

Seems to work.

That is exactly what is needed to prevent the oil spraying out.

under normal circumstances, I'd agree... but I think I'd double check for blow-by as well.
