Rotax 912 with a turbo, sweet little engine and smooth as a baby's ass at criuse speed, remarkably light for the power they make as well.

It's the engine of choice for most smaller homebuilt and advanced ultralight aitcraft as well as a few production models, the 914 is higher compression or may be the turbo version, it's been a couple of years since I worked on one so I can't recall the exact difference. http://www.flyrotax.com/home.aspx
