I might have that cowl peice, i'll take a look this weekend.

That would be awesome. I'm thinking this will be the hardest part to find. Thanks.

Joel aka Boo_Koo_Z up in Washington has a couple listed in the classifieds right now. They've still got the dash attached, but you could always have him cut that part out, to save some weight on shipping. Wink

I looked at the pieces Boo_Koo_Z has, and it appears that the vents are flush with the sheet metal of the cowl. Mine are sunken in. What year did that change?

Those pieces changed a few times over the years. The first style was used thru 64 I believe (it might have been used longer (like on Squares), but I'm not sure), and it had a single indent. The next style was 2 indents for each of the fresh air boxes, that was used from 65 to 67 I believe. Then that no-indent style started, and was used to 70. After that, the openings changed but it was still flat.

Like I said, I'm not sure when the indents changed thru the years (cut off dates), as my 65 Notch uses the 2 indent style, while my son's 65 Square used the long indent. I think John J's 66 Square also uses the single indent.

Just to make it a little more confusing:

I have a 65 N that has one indent (early 65) and I have a mid-year 65 S that has two indents.

That's why I say it's hard to know for sure what the cut off dates are. Rolling Eyes

Both my notches have the single indent, but the peice that I have for parts is smooth, but has the slider fresh air controls and had a wrap around dash as well. What year(s) would that be for? It is in really nice shape, if Bliss doesnt want it

It would make sense if it were model specific but that doesn't appear to be the case.

Agreed. But I think Squares used that single indent longer, or at least it seems that way. I don't know IF the "N" versus "S" deal comes into play either.
