Spoke to the auction company tonight to see if this bus is still part of the auction. The bus has been sold prior to auction. Says they will update the site this week. _________________ Justify denials and grip it to the lonesome end

Ah, thanks for the heads up. Judging by the pics of the place it looks like a current operation junkyard so makes sense. _________________ Sam

Sadly, yes.
I really like that BMW 320 but I should resist. Bummer the road salt is not friendly to our old German friends, seeing 20xx Impalas and Camrys everyday is a real buzzkill. _________________ Sam

Hard to see an add up for a bus that I was going up to bid on for a good friend. Auction company said someone real nice came in asking to buy it pre-auction. They agreed to it. Wouldn't even bother me if they were going to restore it like the group of us were going to.
Always a classless act to post an add by the trailer.
I'll see if the auction company will disclose the sale price of the bus. That's the least they can do. Shouldn't see any reason why they wouldn't. Everything else is open news to each other on-site. _________________ Justify denials and grip it to the lonesome end

It was sold by the owner, pre-auction! The auction company had nothing to do with it. Call Randy, he is a nice guy and will give you any information you want. _________________ "Two things are infinite: The universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe." Albert Einstein

Alright I was confused. Thought it was the auction company. Thanks. _________________ Justify denials and grip it to the lonesome end

The owner always has the right to sell a bus they still own. The problem that I see is that bus was posted as part of the auction with a picture and description for at least a week or so on the auctions website. Almost seems like it was included to help draw to the auction. Pretty shadey whatever the case may be. I know of a few people that made arrangements to bid on that bus. Every auction that I have been to once the auction is posted the items are sold to the highest bidder not pulled off 4 days before. But regardless good luck to the next owner. Hope he gets it back on the road. |

As I understand it, the auction company was not informed of the sale prior to the posting. I doubt it was the highlight of the auction, as it was not listed that way. _________________ "Two things are infinite: The universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe." Albert Einstein
