There is some wet spots and the lower section of the camp ground is closed off due to the wetness. |

Seemed like a smaller than usual show but still fun. Bathroom issue seemed much better this time around too. Camping was fun last night as always! Score some nice parts today so no complaints and the pasta/salad dinner and Pancake breakfast were both awesome!

It did seem smaller than previous years but still a cool show to attend! I also scored some cool parts I was looking for, but I am still on the lookout for only one big window rear hatch jail bar. I am only missing one and in need of one if any one has any leads it would greatly be appreciated! |

Showed up late ~815 last night, hung around said my "Hi's" and made it t bed around 12. Like most, I got a bit chilly around 4am, but my fancy gas heater made quick work of that. Sorry to Raj for the early a.m. wake up call... I was cold.
Show did seem a bit on the light side. Didnt really see/find much in the swaps. A few small odds and ends but nothing "wow"
Peeled out at 2 to catch the ferry back to LI.
Was a good time none the less.
First on the ferry to CT.
I took advantage of the view, and chilled in the bus.
But it was a long ride, so I put on my favorite movie, grabbed a soda and some cookies too.
I've laughed at this sign for years... I don't know how these guys stay in business! Here on LI, we couldn't do it for 3 times that amount!
I love being first in line... You always get the best of the pics, and never have to walk as far to the swaps or bathrooms! Lol
Oh man! Cyrus has been back to his antics!

I thought the same thing. I assume the poor weather forecast kept people away. There is always next year to look forward to!

Took my time in the way home. But the bus still wanted to cruise at 70 the whole way. It was nice to be back after few years of not making it for the show and camping. IMHO a lot has changed. Camping wasn't what I remember it being but still had good time. Deft smaller turnout then previous years. The amount of vendors seems to be dwindling or maybe it was just this year in particular. Either way had a good time was great to see everyone I haven't seen in years. The 57 p/g s/g ran like a champ both there and back clocked just a little over 650milesmround trip. Just like with the 2800 miles we went while on our trip down for cts and back the bus ran perfect. This litchfield was that buses 2nd time there. It's first was 8 yrs ago when I first got the bus and just winged it going up. Thank you again to everyone who helps make this show possible. _________________

Back to work this morning not fun shifting into that gear:(
Thanks to all the organizers for a great event, and Joe Leroux for piloting the gang down from Canada. Congrats to Matt and Glenn on the well deserved awards!
My first time of what I hope to be an annual trek. Had a blast - beautiful area!
And Schwing - I agree... I heard engines (of various conditions) running in my sleep all night long... too funny! |

My first Litchfield Bug In and hopefully not my last. We had a great time, met some nice people, saw some great VWs, and enjoyed camping. |
