You don't need a stereo! The engine is music haha.
I liked sataliteguys expanded metal phone holder.
The gauge looks good, and you can't beat free!

noticed your sterio is blue tooth, how is it on cutting out noise while you try to talk to some one on the phone threw it? was wanting to get blue tooth capable one for mine just unsure how it will work with all the engine and road noise.

i personally, haven't used it. we really need to quiet it down inside A LOT before i can start using it because as of now, its way too loud. my dad used it when he first installed it and haven't since. i would recommend it if your car was quiet inside and your speakers are good enough to put out the sound. but for my cheapy speakers it works fine enough. we will be getting some good expensive sound deadening in sometime soon and when that happens, ill let you know _________________ Money is a gas, not a trip

For the past week or so, we've been in the process of sound deadening. i ripped out all the interior and old sound deadening underneath the carpet. for the very first time we got to see the condition of the pan. it seems it's been replaced at some point and is in good condition besides a little rust which i ground out and a small hole under the battery. it also seems like when the car was painted the body was off the pan so someone put a lot of work into it
my plans for the week: take off the old sound deadening from the tunnel, take out headliner and strip out whole car, take out rear windows (will be replaced with windows that can be slightly opened), lie sound deadening everywhere, order carpet kit and install. wow i have a lot of work ahead of me no more sleeping til noon i guess
i just got a Panasonic DMC-fz18 and apparently the photos are too large to post. this just proves my cameras a boss! _________________ Money is a gas, not a trip

Its an Olympus e-15 or something. Yes raw images are huge and need to be converted for most uses. Your camera should come with an image suit that should let you resize/convert etc.
I'm not sure if the samba image hosting has a maximum size or what, when I use photo bucket all I do is convert if needed with my imaging suit and upload...

You have a nice car to start with judging from the photos.

What kind did you use? I still have a por15'd bare panwantto do some sort of sound deadening. Plus I had an issue of crab smell in my truck so I have a big big piece of carpet jute I can install under the cars carpeting. _________________ my build page http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=536267 |

The car looks great! My Son and I are working on a Baja as well and I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures of your finished interior. We are a few months from interior work but we want the car to be quite inside and not sound like a tin can. Keep up the Great work!
