Thanks alot! I Took the foam and upholstery off the bottom and removed the whole back of the 05 passat seats and fit them on the rabbit bottom bracket. It's alittle work but turned out good.

I looked at my paperwork for my 75 Rabbit. Built in 11-74, 7,xxx build number.
Must have been built in the first week or so of US production. I noticed the single instrument hole, top of the line had TWO holes. Speedo and clock. Why not a tach?? Crazy Germans...

Wow thats the earliest US model I've heard about. You should post some photos if you a chance. Would love to see it.

No American made Rabbits until July of 1978 and they were 1979 models.

Its been over a year sense i put any updates on my rabbit. Its been sitting in my yard that whole time. Last couple months ive been working on it every chance i could. I think its coming togther nice. Heres some picures.
