|
|
I've been searching trying to find an exploded pic that shows the parts that mount the body to the beam on a june 52.
obviously 2 bolts and 2 thick pads between the body and beam but is there any plate under the bolt head or just a washer? any upper rubber pad between the bolt head and body?
thanks in advance,
pip. _________________ DBK!

There is a rectangular plate about 1 inch by 1 1/2 inches that goes between the bolt head and the body. I'd use a washer between those. _________________ CH³NO²

No upper pads for June '52, just a washer under the bolt. The recangular plate is spot welded to body. |
For Oct 1950, is a rubber pad used between body and beam? what bolt/washer/pad combination is used? I'm now at this stage, and parts diagrams and posts haven't made it clear for me. I have seen rubber pads listed for 1946 - ?? from some advertisers, but they don't seem to agree with posted information. (my separation of body from pan was back in the 80's & some of the details have been forgotten or lost)
Thanks for any clarification anyone can offer.

Thanks, Mika.
Same thickness as rear pads? I haven't found a source for front pads, but I can make some if I know what thickness they are.

That link gave the answers I needed - pics & measurements. My searches never gave me that one.
Again, many thanks!
