Holy cow is that a lot of money for that. I get it that the "engineering" has been done but as with most other things 356 there is nothing magic here as some want you to believe. As someone who owns my own welding biz I say probably worth about half that to build it at my shop rate.

The table itself is finished! The front fixtures are finished. The rear fixtures are almost finished. However I need one measurement,I am hoping someone can help. I need to know how high the rear sits in relation to the front. Basically if someone can post pics of a pre A or A chassis that shows me where the rear torsion housing aligns with the front torsion housing would be much appreciated. Front to rear I measure 1800mms, center to center of torsion housings. I need confirmation with a metric tape in mms of the heights to set the fixtures.I think a measurement and pic of a rear torsion straight edged to the front will help. Any help is appreciated! Eager to get this done!

Let me ask this of the 356 gerus....the car is level front and rear, what is the correct height to place fixtures front and rear of body bare to simulate correct as if tires and wheels were on this?? My fixtures are located to the torsion housings front and rear. If this does not matter...why is this? Specifics I need to this to apply to are a November 53 coupe. What is this elusive line? My guess is copies you can buy of supplements from factory details may not apply. Building a car from two cut up cars was never planned nor is it easy!!! Must start with facts. Any help is appreciated!

I'm trying to think of how to help you based upon what I have, a 57 coupe mounted in a rotisserie. There's a link to a build thread with pics in my signature. Please take a look at it so what I wrote below makes the most sense.

The car was leveled prior to mounting in the hoops. The front upright on my rotisserie is 14" to the bottom of the lower torsion bar. The rear upright is 24" to the transmission hoop attachment points in the body. Let me know if this helps.
