Has the case been align-bored before? Align-boring is when they recut the main bearing bores. You need to take it to a shop that knows how to check for this and how to remedy it.
I just had my case align-bored to get it ready for its new build, people do it all the time you just have to make sure the case is solid everywhere else. _________________ "There has never been a genius without a hint of madness."

Take it to a machine shop that knows VW and unless it's been bored out .060 over already they can line bore it and it will be good to go. |

they re also .080 over bearings, and there was some .100 over bearings, those might be hard to comeby. |
