sunny day to share with you my '59 Sunroof

seems pretty solid, so for the moment I decided to keep it in its original state, make it good for the road.
any comments are very very welcome,
and if you got ideas for suiting makeover for this special little beauty, shoot!

Since he is in Belgium, im pretty sure per their laws that they need to retrofit to the later lights to be able to register the car.

I don't have any ideas except for I would find some nicer hub caps.

Thanks for the reactions.

Yes, the tail lights have been changed to cope with the laws, demanding for intermittant turn signals.

So far, I got the engine running, although the carburator is leaking gas from the throttle shaft sometimes. No idea if therefore needs a rebuild?

The electrical system is a real mess. I am now trying to change broken wires, and want to find out why I cannot stall the engine by key, when the emergency indicators are on...

So far no need for welding, maybe we find a spot someday, couldn't be dramatic.

Good idea from my neighbour (building year 1938!) drive it as is, and dress myself as granddad and wear a cap Razz
