So in 4 days (5/24/2013) Oscar will have his 50th birthday.
I always try to do something special for the big occasion.
This year, seeing how it was the big 50th Birthday, I got him two special gifts.
The first one is a new radio. As you can see from the picture it’s a Retro Sound Model One B/C.
Now, when we cruise we’re plug into all the good tunes.
The second gift is a little brother. A 1966 Ford F-100 Short Bed with the original 352 cc with 3 on the three.
Just like with Oscar I’m the second owner. Purchased it from the grandson of the original owner.
So now Oscar has someone to keep him company in the drive way.

| Will Oscar be getting an AARP membership? Seriously, nice bug & the Ford F100 isn't too shabby. My oval has it's birthday on the 30th, built May 30, 1956 and shipped the 31st. I'm hoping the weather is nice on the 30th and we can go for a drive. |

Just the other day a guy commented after hearing mine's a '63, "oh, it's 50 this year!". Bummed that I missed the birthday, however, as my car is an early '63 model. Glad you are not too late for your turkis bug's 50th!

Well it looks like I missed last year.
So tomorrow (5/24/2015) Oscar will have his 52th birthday.
I always try to do something special for the big occasion but I'm much to busy this year. Just an update he still has his brother, the 1966 Ford F-100.
Also he now has a Motorhome, a 1995 Callista Cove. We use Oscar as our pull behind ride. I will try to post a few pictures later today.
We also purchased a new house that has a garage, so for the first time Oscar will be spending the night inside.

| Thats great, had Bugs, Busses, my whole life since high school [class of 69], but still always liked those older Ford trucks. |
