not to make a negative comment because it looks like you've done some impressive work, but below that headlight and that fender need some more attention unless i'm mistaken.... but keep up the good work.... |

There are a few places that require further attention, all in good time, it's far first primer. Some things come only after painting _________________ GarbatePorsche

Sounds good, like I said wasn't trying to be negative.... I am in the exact stage you are.... My body is awaiting final body prep before first full coat of primer..... She's pretty much 98% smoothed out, but the lower rear valance will need some massaging as we noticed when we put the engine lid on there were some gaps...
I'm building a 70 as well.... I'm so grateful and honored that I can say I personally was able to bring one of these fine automobiles back to life.... They truly are one of the most beautiful classic body lines.... Congrats on your build and remember to keep your eyes on the prize..... |

I know it's one of the most body shapes.
For this shape sold my replica Porsche 356. What I would do any with that car was never to Original of, and Karmann is a full oldtimer.
As for the back of the car, I made a small mistake, welding the rear belt and battery mount without the tailgate. I had to fix it now because the tailgate is not fit. Now it's all right, will do the exact image fitting slots.
But this is how you do everything yourself and learn from your mistakes. _________________ GarbatePorsche

Report of paint shop. What seemed smooth and even had ups and downs ....
This stage has finished, now everything is equal, waiting for the last base, lid and doors in the control ...

Also in the garage slowly forward.
I renewed exhale and heaters.
replaced the tank, the one who was in the car was suitable only for scrap.A new use has been completely renovated.
I had the engine removed from the replica of the Porsche 356 has been slightly modified.I added IDF40 Weber carburetors, other flashings and renovated exhaust system removed from Karmann. The original engine H went on the shelf for now. Maybe then it would use.
Metal sheet went to powder coating.
and the motor takes shape

Yesterday the car was finally painted.
To do is a few bug fixes and polishing.
In my free time I started the cleaning of lamps and bumpers.

Today the big day, the car finally came back from the paint shop.
Paint shines beautifully in the sun.
Judge it it themselves ..
It is a pity that spoil the view of those hideously spraying wheels, but they will soon disappear. But first engine because hampers on the garage floor. _________________ GarbatePorsche

Christmas idleness bored today I decided to spend a pleasant day in the garage
The rear bumper and the lights in place.
Fixed an electrician in the back and mount heat shields (managed to clear the original).
Fun with jack.
And the engine is in place
Tomorrow the distal portion of the work.. _________________ GarbatePorsche
