Should kick ass - I did a big bore kit with everything else stock. Same vintage case and the same heads. Once I got the jetting right on the 28 PICT1 and Glenns 019, the car really runs strong. Want to get it back on the dyno and see what it does now. _________________ D-Dubya Manx clone - 63 Short pan,1914.
Rosie 65 bug - My mostly stock daily driver.
Woodie 69 VW woodie (Hot VWs 7/12).
"John's car" 64 VW woodie - The first ever
Maxine 61 Cal-look bug - Cindy's daily driver.
Max - 73 standard Beetle hearse project - For sale
66 bug project - Real patina & Suby conversion
There's more, but not keeping them... |

Thank you
It runs well and has a good power. It needs again some tune up. The 019 is not so simple to set up. _________________ LOOKING FOR 62 ENGINE WITH NUMBER FROM 6.904.xxx TO 6.915.xxx

Are you happy with the 019 or would you rather have a 010?
The reason I ask is because I am going to do a build similar to yours, but not sure whether to go with 019 or 010.
Thanks. _________________ 1964 Beetle |

Yes, I'm happy with 019 ... but I don't know if a 010 could be better. _________________ LOOKING FOR 62 ENGINE WITH NUMBER FROM 6.904.xxx TO 6.915.xxx
