78 Westy sink faucet tube "o" ring help!

Hi! Has been a while since I have been here, but am now in the final stages of "finishing" Ladybug ....and getting ready for camping at last! My dual handle sink faucet leaks at the base of the faucet tube....took it apart, and the PO put a small 1/16" square ring at the flared base, and the faucet tube moves, and naturally flops around. Have looked at many old posts, but nowhere can I find a picture of what the "o" ring is supposed to look like, or what size..or if anything else is missing...do not want to do the GO-Westy replacement...no leaks anywhere else, pump works fine. Well never got an answer, and need to replace the “o” ring on my 76 Westy faucet. Anybody know what size it is? Bob

Go to a quality hardware store with the spout. You’ll find what you need. It Needs to fit tight enough to not leak yet still move back & forth with slight effort. Don’t forget the plumbers grease.
