I have a 79 type 1 convertible. The stock fuel injection is in place. I'm experimenting modifying the stock AFM to get better power at 55+ speeds.
I can modify and richen the mixture, but I'm still not getting much power at highway speeds. Around town it has decent power. My guess is it's making 70 horsepower right now. My guess is I'm not getting enough air to the cylinders with the stock system, as I can tell by the plugs, my adjustments are actually making the mixture richer.
I was wondering if there's anyone here running a adjusted stock AFM with a larger than stock motor?
