You can order them straight from Concept 1 or from Klassic Fab.

Looks like Wolfsburg west is selling the concept 1 wheel now. Pretty cheap w/ the horn button.

The Wolfsburg West website informs:
"Will fit 55-67 with modification"
Can someone explain what steering wheel modification is needed?
what is the difference between the keyed steering shaft of a late bd and that of a split bus 55-67?

For a 55-67 Bus, maybe you have to add the turn signal canceling ring?

Thanks Everett and djfordmanjack.

My 51 bd has a later keyed steering shaft and I don't need the turn signal cancelling ring.

That means that a repro bd steering wheel is in my case just bolt on.

Unless I have missed something fundamental...

On a splined barndoor wheel. Is it the same splines as a split or early oval? If so how much difference is there in an early barndoor wheel and the bug?
