Awesome job! This post will motivate owners of rusty VW's all of the world. Thanks to the vast supply of aftermarket sheet metal parts it shows that anything is possible, even for an amateur with limited welding and metal fabrication skills. I am willing to bet that you will be on the hunt for another VW project very soon!

so first of all thank you all very much for support and for your opinion and comment....
i get back last friday my T1 from uplolsthery and complited last remaning tasks .... so i took some pictures and updated the photo gallery here

https://picasaweb.google.com/pbattia/RestoT1VWPanel1964

with all photos missing (more than 90 new photo Cool including mechanic jobs, piant job, upholstery job.....)
So now are documented all jobs from "rusty version" till today.

I felt tired yesterday just watching how much work done!!!

I also counted the time I spent doing the job (metal work, welding, mechanics, cleaning preparing and painting details and parts, preparing for final painting... ...... all excluding final painting and upholstery)
..... more than 800 hrs

now wish to have some plesant ride with it!!

Congratulations for turning a rough and rusty Panel into a jewel of a Transporter. Now enjoy driving it around and touring your beautiful country! You deserve it, you have great restoration skills! And take lots of pictures with your Bus and the Italian countryside!
