Last weekend a true vintage gravel road rallye took place in the woods of Norway. As a side event to the more famous SCC at Gardermoen Raceway, the rallye were held on the narrow roads surrounding the dragstrip. Everything whitin the remains of an abandon WW2 airfield. The rules were simple, only cars with solid generator stand (25-36 Hp) engines were allowed. We had a startgrid of 10 cars, with a good mixture of stock, Okrasa, Abarth, RHM and Judson powered engines. The winner was the one closest to match a pre-set time, not the fastest car. The rallye was a hit, both the crowd and drivers loved it. There will definitely be a new Schmutz Rennen in 2014. Here are some photos of the event, in true vintage speed style:
