this is amazing, the skills that have gone into the project, shame it's not in english

FRIDOLIN W12
Car/ : Volkswagen type 147 fridolin
Model: specially built for the German post. 1963-1972. 6139 cars are built.
First registration : 04-1969
The body has been completely restored and the chassis is replaced for a tube frame.

The bumpers are closer placed on the car.
The tail lights are replaced for older t1 bus lights.
Side windows, rear corner windows and the large rear window, are original option parts.
The front axle is made up of vw, opel, ford and audi parts, and consists of double A-frame wishbones. it has Brembo 6 piston calipers and two-piece brake discs 390 mm. The calipers are painted German post yellow with having identical logos. The front suspension is specially made, the are 3 way shock absorbers ant the are placed horizontally. it is referred to professional racing cars.

The rear suspension consists of audi a6 4 motion parts, and consists of double A-frame wishbones. it has Brembo 4 piston calipers and two-piece brake discs 360 mm. The calipers are painted German post yellow with having identical logos. the handbrake calipers come from an audi R8 (were not mounted on le bug show spa) The rear suspension is specially made, the are 3 way shock absorbers ant the are placed horizontally. it is referred to professional racing cars.
The 2wd gearbox has 6 speeds and comes from an audi a6, he has a tilton clutch with three clutch plates good for 800ps and 1025 nm, the clutch is hydraulic.
The driveshafts are custom made.
The engine is from a 2004 vw touareg w12 and has 12 cylinder, 6 liter. 450 ps 600nm original. The engine is connected white a adapter plate to the gear box. And has a custom made flywheel. the two air filters are made of carbon. The engine is equipped with an oil cooler and oil filter relocate kit. the special fuel pressure regulator is adjusted at 4 bar. The race fuel tank is placed in the nose, with below 2 QSP fuelpumps. A magnaflow exhaust system, with the 4 original catalysts, and 8 lambda probes. The cooling is done by two aluminum radiators with 4 spall fans.
Recaro pro racer seats, with simpson belts. Momo drifting steering wheel. Autometer pro comp tachometer, QSP Water temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure gauges. specially designed control panel. motorsports gearshifter and handbrake handle. the pedal set is custom made, and has three hydraulic cylinders, the gas pedal is drive by wire. the roll cage I made myself
the rims are polished, model torq thrust 2 in sizes 8x 20”. With Nankang tires 225-30-20.
He has a red top battery in the nose, and the original water-cooled alternator is mounted.
I bought the car in 2004 and have about 5000 hours worked on it. And 35000 euro.

It is the first time that a vw won, and the first time that the Netherlands wins
Next year we'll be there again to show the W12 Fridolin to the public, as the winner of 2014.

We are very pleased with the prices.
