Here's my 73. I went with the Euro style front and rear lights.
I squared off the old mounting holes and then welded in a filler plate. Then I got a rusty section off a bus that had the correct hole layout for the early stlye lights that I centered up and traced out as a pattern. |

These are on my stock 1973. The hole is 6 inches tall center of mounting holes by 4 inches wide. _________________ 1973 Thing/Safari

Looks great! Where did you buy the rear light assemblies? _________________ Mike B. |

I do not run reverse lights currently. I have considered adding them under the bumper or somewhere out of sight if needed. I ran the wires for them when I re-did the harness in case I ever wanted to add something down the road. |
