One more week!
Have the new motor installed and start testing it today!
Now all I need is my bumpers back from my body guy and we're golden!!

In case anyone missed, here's the whole schedule for the weekend. If there is any questions please post them here and we will get them answered. The Sunday show is free for all show cars, spectators and used parts vendors. There is also no registration for the show.

got the bus running closer to right today. hasn't run right since the fire. fuel was separating really wierd, so drained a lot of it out, and burned more off... and 1/2 were misfiring. (missing, and sometimes cross firing. dunno -who- they were crossing with, but firing 180 out). replaced wires, got better - but if 1/2 wires are tight next to each other, they're still crossfiring intermittently.
but it seems to run and idle again finally. tomorrow take it out for a test drive... hopefully it will go better than the drive in feb! |

Do you think it damaged the distributor... May have melted something on the inside.. not just the condenser and points.. like metal or something..

nah - flame was primarily filler door area and on the ground. no heat damage inside beyond a vapor flash.
probably just a cap acting up...but I'm short on spares (..can't even find the pile of old ones) apparently. |

Please make sure you and your friends are aware of Bulli Brigade Spring Meet new location! Here's a map on how to get to the field for Bulli Brigade Spring Meet 2. Look for the large Race Track Gas station to find the entrance.
Additionally, in Bulli Brigade tradition the t-shirts will go on sale at 11am. If your not able to make the Spring Meet make sure to have a friend grab you one. There will be short sleeve, long sleeve and hoodies available. Due to family commitments I will not be able to make the trek down to No Dough on Sunday.
