Even if the car looks like it's sound enough, the first thing I would say is wrong is that the car is in Egypt.
Are you able to export it out of the country without going to so much effort that the worth is diluted? |

what i want is technical analysis and observations about what is missing or wrong with the car?! i needto evaluate the cost of restoration b4 proceeding and buying it and also evaluate the right price that i could offer for it in that shape!

Kind of passed on oval! Asking price is still much for what it needs! _________________ - Split De luxe 1950

humm i see the engine, not correct for sure...unless the block is original and all parts were changed...i think all is wrong.
Also see the mirror interior is not correct for split.
The decklid can be correct, maybe only the T handle changed and the nose light, is early decklid because have the V.
hood seems correct 3 tabs and a tip for a deluxe model, the knobs from the pods seems painted black.
Headlighs lenses not correct?
Back windows are strange have some white stick with letters, maybe replacement glass windows? it is something with glass.
I see that car have no trims holes...seems bondo and painted over.
The car is a 1950 split.

Firstly, establish whether it is a standard (i.e. no ext. trim, dark pods etc).
That alone separates a car from other splits; both in rarity and value of missing/incorrect parts to complete. (by a wide margin)
Sourcing a correct era 25 hp. engine correct to this car is no minor expense.
Secondly, clarify YOUR intended goals for it. Flip it, restore it or just keep it as a driver.)
This will determine some major cost/benefit issues right up front.
It may also narrow the appeal in any future sale.
Just my .02¢

It needs a lot of things to get it to looking original. Bumpers, Pope's nose, and tail lights right off the bat. Metal work is needed on the fenders and the semaphore locations.
Anyway, here in California I would start with an offer of $5K. But that's just my opinion. Others may disagree. Comps on actual sale prices are hard to get. There are a few asking prices on rough examples here on the Samba that are quite a bit higher. But those are asking prices, not sale prices. _________________ Charlie

disappearing, as they were welded with metal (do not know how to solve that)! |
Well i had the same problem still not finnish...but why not try to open, it will get nice when finnish, i opened with a dremel machine carefully, everything is there now need a professional finnishing.

It is a standard 1950 |
I am not so sure about that...is not the first split we see lots of bondo on metal then painted, if u see the right door if as the trim hole there, it could be seen because a crack...
Also the domelight interior is deluxe, and the pods have white knobs painted, also the front hood have the 3 hood pin emblem used on split deluxe, also dash trims on glovebox, you should see that details but i think in fact is a deluxe model. There was a owner from that car in time he liked all black, the front hood release knob is also painted, everything went painted black in that car the door handles were also painted black, the car was customized black
Btw is missing also the armrest from the door.
