Would love to attend, but it's a longshot for us. Love watching the videos following the threads and seeing the pics? Maybe the stars will align. _________________ Tom, Juanita, Iggy & Abbey the Dirty Desert Dogs

I am really trying to make a west coast trip to see vendors, pay my respect at Daryl's event and attend Syncrofest.

When are you leaving? If I can get off work we could "Convoy", "Road trip". I enjoy seeing a few Vanagon's banded together. _________________ 1987 Syncro Westfalia Hightop - NAHT

Will you be bringing windshields again this year? The cracks in mine have recently expanded, its time for a new one. _________________ Tim Potts

Since Syncro Solstice dates got moved back my plans changed. I still want to go but would only be able to take off 1-2 days for the event. And with 2 of those days full driving days, I'm still considering going but it's not set in stone.
IF I go, I would probably leave Thursday evening after work, then camp somewhere on the way. And I would need to be back Monday morning for work. 24 hours of driving is a long time to only get to spend 2 days there _________________ 1986 Canadian Syncro Westy TDI - 1989 Syncro Single Cab - 2001 Audi S4 - 1981 VW Caddy ABA - 1980 VW Caddy EV - 1973 VW T-181 |

I'm considering going to Syncrofest for the first time, I'm due. How is it for small kids? I might go Friday morning til Sunday and I have two little girls ages 2 and 4. I'm wondering if they will be a bit busy with things to do or I will have them both hanging from my legs all day long. Also, how far from the coast for a short day visit? Other recommendations to do in the area? My b-day is May 3rd, that would be fun.... _________________ 1991 Westy auto w/ Peloquin TBD

Fantastic! Very kid friendly, huge campground among beautiful big trees. Lots of other kids around.
