If you're a fan of air cooled VW's, tune in to Street Outlaws Monday nights, national tv might get a little VW surprise. Smile

It's a turbo motor in it right now. AZN registered over on UAC and has a thread over there.

I don't think they're pushing "big" horsepower out of it, north of 200. Enough to surprise a lot of V8 street guys though.

I know the guy that built the engine and he showed me a bunch of pictures 3 months ago. It's all CB parts. At the time he would not say who it was for, but I have since figured it out. He has a 9 second turbo drag bug so he knows what he's doing. His shop is next door to the guys with the Gold Mustang.

Last month all the guys from the TV show were at the drag strip for a "no prep" race.

I'd be willing to bet there will be a little aircooled action on the show tonight! Twisted Evil

Like Dave said- Fast Eddie from Eddie's Imports took the reigns on the build for the most part! Smile
