work & holidays slowed my progress but some accomplishment over the past few weekends. The idea is to build the frame than cover with wood strips like used in building a wood strip canoe. Each side will open like a gull wing to allow access.

Those corners had me pulling my hair out. I tried everything from steaming the wood to making a fiberglass plug with 1/16 inch strips vacuum formed but the wood wanted nothing to do with it. I resorted to bandsawing a close angle to the arc, Stacking the pieces then power grinding and sanding to the shape. I choose my wood poorly, Doug Fir does not like to bend. the inside of these corners are ugly but headliner will hide that.

As far as T Tops, I plan on making gull wings but I'm stepping back from that while. I figure that can be done while the buggy is a driver and I re kindle my gumption for this part of the project and remove all splinters from my body
