I'm just shy of 1000 miles in the single cab. I don't have exact number for my others, but when ever I can, I go aircooled. _________________ I will never lie, but sometimes the truth changes.

I put about 8000 miles a year on my 67 Beetle. This is an average of the last three years. It is too much fun to drive to leave her in the garage. |

Yeah, I've been keeping track of the miles on my 56 sedan since 2008 and even how much between fillups since there is no gas gauge. Know exactly how much since owning the car (purchased in 2002). Didn't get to drive much this year and the "year" pretty much ended with the snowfall on Sunday. Without keeping tabs, how are you going to know when to do valve adjustments/ oild changes/ tuneups?

I average over 10,000 miles a year. Having other vehicles available, not all them miles go on the same one necessarily. However, the most do go on the bus!
Turned over the odometer on my last bus in less than the 14 years I had it. Using the same odometer from it on my current bus, it's less than 300 miles to be turned over AGAIN, now owning it for 12 years!
At times I've had the Dormy sit in the garage for weeks, but then when I did drive it the trips were high milage ones, like 1,000 miles in a weekend! Not to mention that on the "Floriduh Show Tour" a couple of years back it clocked about 8,000 miles in just 20 actual days of driving! _________________ Some people are so busy being clever they don't have time enough to be wise. |

When they were my daily drivers, I was putting about 25K a year on my ACVWs. I was doing tune-ups about every six weeks. I got good at doing them fast...
Now I have a far shorter commute, and my single remaining ACVW is a weekend and occasional daily driver. I doubt I'll put 1000 miles on it a year unless I take it on a cruise up the coast. |

I use to put between 10k-15k a year on my cars but don't commute anymore so probably down to less then 10k
my '74 odometer has never work right so can't really keep track on it but it is my daily and most of the time only driving vehicle _________________ '60 15 window walkthrough

My 69 Bug is a daily driver and I am at about 12,000 to 15,000 miles per year:-) Keeping it stock-ish, garaged, and tuned up really helps. _________________ 1969 Beetle - "Olive"

So nearly 200k on the same odo? I'm impressed! |
Well, thanks?!?
I am a driver and like to drive all my vehicles! Some times I drive the truck for a week just because it has sat for too long. Just turned the odometer in the Bug recently too and I got it with some 40k miles or so. Would drive it more often but it's in need of an engine rebuild. But my most reliable is the Dormy which is the oldest, a '65. _________________ Some people are so busy being clever they don't have time enough to be wise. |

In 2009 I put 67,313 miles on my poor old 79 bus because I used it for my business which involved lots of driving. I have since gotten a different job a tenth of a mile from my house so my bus now gets about 100 miles a year, still daily driving it for work _________________ air-cooled or nothing for me
