Your English is hard to understand ipis. Maybe you could type it up in Spanish and use a translation application to translate your Spanish to English? _________________ https://imgur.com/user/FisherSquareback/posts

Is this a swing axle or IRS car? What year?

Your new motor looks like a bus or 411/412 engine? They will fit in your squareback with some work/welding etc. Read Nate's thread below from the beginning for some ideas.

I don't think its a type 4 engine, looks similar but not like a type 4 as I know it. Tin ware is not whats normally on the type 4 neither is the weird manifold/carby setup that this has. Is that a bus 1600 engine? |

It's way too small to see clearly, but it does look like a Type 4 or 914- 912E setup. _________________

If it helps other people reading this thread - I read this as him trying to install a T3 engine into a Squareback.
T3 = 3rd generation of Bus = Vanagon engine.
But I'm not sure that is a Vanagon engine? _________________ How to Post Photos

CT it's type 1-based, but with inbuilt oil filter and hydraulic tappets, heads are notoriously weak, cylinders are one-offs too, most people just use regular type 1 heads and p&c's when they rebuild the engine
to use it in a type 3 you would need to use all the type 3 tinware from your original engine, but I'm not sure at all about the interference between fan housing, oil filter and engine support bar
