I lucked up on split bus step when I was purchasing a front end for a '66. I picked up a pointed rear bumper in the same pile. But, I will go with the step as the best find.
Good luck to all for 2014! We need it. |

It's a toss up between the 21 window...
And the two hardtop deluxe brothers
But we haven't been able to negotiate a deal for the best "find" yet. Fingers crossed for 2014 _________________ EMPI Power Rules! |

Bullet 15 window hands down. _________________ BarryL wrote:
100 years from now when they have reverse atom regeneration attractor technology perfected and in a hand held back yard mechanic's price range, someone will dig up this thread and go, "What were those guys thinking? The whole thing was all there just waiting to be re-atomized. Funny how easily they cut them up back then."

My new purchase this year!! I've been in the market for a new Westy for a few years and out of the blue I got a reply to my wanted ad. The best part was it was only two hours away and I got to drive it home. It's an original Velvet Green hardtop walk thru SO-42 and someone added the Dormy top at some point. |

dormy top is great, i hope they installed the belly pans, too? if not you really want them...
I would also flip the roof around where it is hinged on the driver side. That way you can get out of the bus when it rains while camping. _________________ regards

Yeah, unfortunately no belly pans but they will get added asap. Also I may flip the lid as well. |

Looks like a solid bus! Congrats. Did it come with a complete original interior? _________________ Wanted : January '57 Palm Green Sand Green Bus Parts - Middle and Rear Seat Frames - flat back. I have original seat covers but would consider covered frames.

This 67 that I drove home for $2,500. The seller had nearly that much in receipts for the motor. Fairly rust free aside from the bottom edges of the rockers and that front lower valance corner.

I am sure you have seen this bus, there is a thread on here about the value.
I am going to start a thread on it soon, just have to find the time.
It is a march 17, 1956 dove blue Wolfsburg built kombi sent to Westfalia for the conversion.
I am stocked to have it. _________________ SOUTHERN INTEGRITY AIRCOOLERS
