I have a Jan. '56, body number 1568 with Karosserie number 1572., so your car has to be a '56 car. Too bad the bumpers were sold, any idea who bought them? |
I see the pictures off your 56 on the another post, beautiful
Do you have another pictures from particularities of the first production ?
Thanks |

It looks like your restoration is coming along nicely! I don't know if it matters, but the heater box above is for a 59-60 36hp motor. The earlier style is a little different. |

Hello
Soory raffy, I dont sold my LL.
I do not know the differences on the boxes heating. it is the box that were on my engine in 1956.
I'll watch that, thanks |

This is the type of heater box your car would have had from the factory:
Here is a Samba post with more information:

The heater boxes you have will work just fine, it just depends on how accurate you want to be. |

Thanks for the links and for this information
I would like to be as accurate as possible, but I have other financial priorities, to find the most important parts, including a speedo Kmh very hard to find!
And once complete, I dream of him climbing judson, but for that, I must have a perfect mechanical |

Nice early ghia! But why the red primer under a green car? Hope it never gets chipped. |

Perhaps it's a Christmas gift?
For the record, I'd be very happy with any LL KG regardless of primer color. |

This is just a primer after pickling up a sheet metal, I would put a white primer before the green |
