Sheek 5 was features in either Hot VWs or VW Trends in the 90's. It was a 67 I believe, white top and hood with graphics in yellow, orange and red toward the rear.
Anyone have the magazine article or photos?

Check it out, with cseay1's help I got the 1988 issue featuring Sheek 5 I remember having this issue back in probably like 1989. I was visiting a friend in the neighborhood I lived in (Burlingame) when I saw Sheek 5 parked outside his place. The owner (Adam Hodgerney) lived in San Bruno at the time. He was cool enough to show off his engine and pose for a picture (bottom photo). Ahhh, the good old days 
There is a car parked in an apartment garage about 10 blocks from my place that looks like a super aged custom, very similar to this one. Hmmm, I wonder.

| I will ask if that's ok first and get back to you. And yes, I believe Adam has owned it all these years but it's been sitting awhile. We're trying to get it back to show condition. Might be at the upcoming Terra Nova show May 16th. |
