Awesome car! Do you have any pics of the interior? How did you get the reddish ring between the hubcap and wheel? |

The red is a accessory hubcap trim ring - it's just a strip that wedges in behind the hubcap! Unfortunately they've faded a lot since then, I think the cleaner I use for the whitewalls may have bleached them!
I have since replaced the carpet unfortunately whilst original it was really stained and missing in a few places, I went with a slightly lighter oatmeal. _________________ 1960 Beetle ''Heidi" daily driver

Where do you find those hubcap rings? I've never seen anything like that before. They really add a nice little touch. |

Any light will look bright on a long exposure... those are just the parking lights actually.

Harris thanks for the picture of the clay beige wheel center and the sand beige running boards! I have been looking at painting my wheels the same, just dont see many of them painted in the factory colors. _________________ MyBuild http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=571921
