Hello Everyone,
Below are the details for the Life Celebration for Daryl Christensen EVERYONE is invited, as you all know, that is exactly as Daryl would want it.
Where: Thurston County Fairgrounds Expo Center
3054 Carpenter Rd Lacey, WA
When: April 26th, 2014 from 11am-6pm
VW Vanagon's are welcome to camp overnight in the Expo Center parking lot on the night of the event. If you wish to camp the night before please call the Thurston County Fairgrounds @ (360) 786-5453
This will be a potluck, bring whatever pleases you.
Thank you for helping spread the word for this celebration.

Many of you know that Daryl Christensen of AA transmission has passed away. There will be a Life Celebration for Daryl at the Thurston County Fairgrounds on April 26. Daryl's family will be renting the facility. A few of us gathered around our digital campfires (computers) and thought it would be nice if we took up a fund to help pay for the facility rental.
To be clear the family hasn't asked for any donations for the fairground rental, we just thought it would be a good idea. There may be a follow up for another type of donation in Daryl's memory, but we have yet to work out the details.

The Life Celebration for Daryl is about a month away...
Some folks are putting together a presentation to be shown at the celebration and to be given to his family. And of course Daryl's samba friends are most welcome to contribute!

We're just a few days away from "Darylstock"!
If you want to camp at the Thurston County Fairgrounds:
"Anyone wishing to camp overnight please call the fairground and reserve a site. Due to the possible large amount of campers the fairground has rescinded it offer to let people stay in the parking lot for free. Please call the Thurston County Fairgrounds @ (360) 786-5453
This will be a potluck, bring whatever pleases you." |
