Buggy I picked up almost a year ago, not sure on the brand. Here she is as I got her:

Was used as a hunting buggy, lots of dirt underneath, few dents in the pan.

Got the body pulled a few months ago to paint and shot the main pan with Raptorliner recently, the rest of the pan is going to get finished in trim black this weekend.

Body is just set on pan temporarily on these two, have a lot left on the pan left to do and body to finish up.

Still haven't settled on wheels/tires or final ride height yet.

nice! I almost wish i would have done the raptor liner on my pan... Did you do the paint yourself? Is it metal flake or just metallic paint?

The paint looks great, and the deep dish steelies and Vdub caps look pretty classic.

Thanks, my girlfriends cousin and I did the paint work, cobalt blue .015 flake over black sealer. The Raptorliner is fun stuff to shoot, I may end up doing the black sides of the body with it. I do kind of like the retro steelies but they kind of need to be chromed now that it's painted, was also thinking of chrome Cragar 5 spokes.

Looks like you have a great start so far! The paint and the pan look amazing. You should run both the steelies and get some cragars. You can swap them out depending on your mood. As it would look great either way.

Great vintage color Shifty ..a '65 Cobra color. I am a fan of steel wheels; mine are on standby to replace Cragars. Nice job.

The painted wheels add a nice look - keep them instead of going with chrome wheels -

Having a hard time deciding between old school style or lifted and widened, both makes sense in my world. Probably going classic street style initially then lift it later once it gets a few scratches. But I know me, I'll change my mind next week. Razz

I think it will look fantastic completed with the wheels that are on it and agree with the extra set of Cragars idea. On a side note, I have been thinking about painting an old truck I have Cobalt blue. Your pics confirmed that for me. The color is awesome!

Keep the steelies, drop it down a few inches and it will look stellar, love the colour. Nice work so far.

Mouse? Took me a second to realize what you meant. Haha, no that's a grind mark from me filling drilling the stem hole so I can use the more common smaller size.

Looks great so far. I like the 3 handle e-brake for bootleg turns.
