When will the video be done? |
That's a very good question (side note: my wife asks me all the time "when will you be done working on that buggy?")
Truthful answer is I don't know. Right now there are two of us working on it and we do have a lot of material to go through. My new target date is 13 Oct 2014 Anytime before that will be a pleasant surprise. We will be screening it at the MOTB 2014.
I'll post more teasers so keep checking back.

... if Tom Cruise or Pauly Shore are starring in the video, I'll pass, Thanks!
Appreciate the dates - MAYBE I can make this years event!

My sister has a 40 footer and loves to stay @ The Refuse at Wanchese, NC (252) 473-1096. It's pretty nice. Small and private owned by a very friendly family. It is very close to where Vince lives, in Manteo and not far from where most of the activities are. I think there are a few people attending MOTB that stay there. _________________ I'd rather be an hour early than 5 minutes late. (Mine)

Rich,
I know I have provided the information below to you via email a while ago but I'm going to post it here in case others are interested in camping options while attending MOTB.
Roy has provided a recommendation (thanks Roy) for a camp ground that you will also find in the list at the website I provided (below).
Thanks,
Bud
The best recommendation we can provide regarding camping during the MOTB is this website below.
http://www.outerbanks.org/outerbanks-campgrounds-and-rv-parks/
Look for campgrounds in or around Nags Head and/or Kitty Hawk area as they will be the closest locations to the morning rally points and other activities for the event. The event isn’t static and we move about the whole Outer Banks (OBX) area during the week. We don't endorse any of the campgrounds listed as they are not sponsors of the MOTB event. _________________ Bud (1Madmanx)

Bud and Vince
I just wanted to remind you that last year the owner of Palimico Jacks (Sp?) stopped me and expressed interest in hosting something for manx on the banks this year. he threw out like using his parking lot for the car show or maybe a breakfast or dinner. He said to get in contact with him. Sorry I cant remember his name though.

Eric,
Thank you for the info. Vince and I are beginning the preliminary planning for MOTB 2014 right now. I plan to have information updated on the website in late July when I get back from Big Bear.
As a little teaser, I have finished the MOTB DVD project. The movie is over 1 hour and 10 minutes long. We intend to screen it at this years event and then sell copies as part of our fund raising. I'll be posting a trailer soon.
Stay tuned....

After six months of weeding through 1000's of pictures and 100's of hours of video, the MOTB commemorative DVD project is finished. I've posted a 5+ minute trailer on the website, www.manxonthebanx.com, to give you an idea of what's in the 1 hour and 10 minute DVD (although I've held back a number of surprises ).
As Vince and I start finalizing the planning there will be more updates posted on the site. We are getting very close to opening up registration for this year's MOTB 2014. Let the fun begin.
Bud

Mike, you did see my email on the lodging correct?
Can't wait to see you guys again - and may rub in the fact that you are flying instead of driving
