Just wondering if they are still available, even used they seem to be hard to find. My thinking is they are great for the dune bug/baja/class 11 style crowd seeing as how bfgoodrich 195 x75r14 ats are only slightly taller then stock and general tire's grabber at2s 27 x 8.500 14 also work well with a 4.12 r&p (I do have a set of the 27x8.50 on my 71 mounted on some 6" wide turbo style mags I came across) _________________ ____________

i don't think 14" rims will clear the ball joints in the front. my 15" rims barely do. _________________ 1968 VW Beetle | |

Actually 14 inch rims clear fine at least my 6 inch wide 14s do even with 27 x 8.500 tires slight rub on the fender lip but when I raise the front that should go away

They clear fine, I've had several standard Beetles on 14s.
It was the done thing here in Oz in the 80s cutting down stockies to 14" and taking them upto 7"
Also all the common 4x130 alloy rims here were 14" too.
theres always a few sets of 14" rims on ebay here. _________________ Quick little bug, you got a Porsche motor in that?
